Therapy Style

I served as a student pastor for four years while finishing my master’s degree and making the transition to therapy. During those four years in ministry, I was able to develop relationships with students and families walking through a variety of life circumstances.

I have always had a heart for students and families and working with them to repair broken bridges of communication. Families are awesome, but every member of the family experiences things in a unique way. I also enjoy working with couples, including couples that are engaged and looking forward to building a life together.

Growing up, I needed someone to talk to and I did not get that opportunity. When I learned more about counseling it helped me learn to communicate differently and process through the different issues in my life. I am thankful to be able to walk alongside people experiencing similar issues.

What are your interests outside of work?

I spend a lot of time reading articles and watching sports and talking sports.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I have a great wife who supports me in incredible ways. We find ways to talk through our day and experiences daily.

How do you recharge?

I love spending time with my family and watching sports!
