My Therapy Style

As a therapist, I utilize many modalities such as Solution-focused to address problem-solving, Psychodynamic to resolve unconscious conflicts in trauma, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to clarify irrational thinking, and Mindfulness to manage anxiety and depression. I also embody cultural diversity and empathize with the culturally diverse, as well as immigrants. I have experience in addiction medicine to treat addiction and recovery. As a clergyperson, I can explore issues of both grief and loss.

Why did you become a mental health professional?

As a clergyperson, I wanted to gain psychological understanding so that I could be of greater service not just to believers but to the wider society in general.

What are your interests outside of work?

Playing golf, watching Cricket around the world, and traveling to my home in the UK and using our trip there to visit other countries.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I run 1.5 miles and walk 2 miles daily. My spiritual disciples are also a vital part of my mental and emotional well-being.

What book have you read more than once?

The Bible as it is the cornerstone of my life.

How do you recharge?

I have a massage chair which I utilize 1-3 times daily.
