I specialize in treating individuals who are experiencing grief due to loss as well as those who have experienced trauma. I enjoy assisting individuals who are struggling with anxiety, and depression, and those who desire help with managing their overall stress and life transitions. Why did you become a mental health professional?

As I reflect on the winding path that has shaped my life, it becomes clear that my story is intricately woven with threads of resilience, compassion, and a deep commitment to healing. Born and raised in NYC, my journey into the world of social work and therapy began with personal experiences that ignited a passion for helping others navigate grief and trauma.

What are your interests outside of work?

I am the mother of four beautiful adult children and one rambunctious seven-year-old grandson. My hobbies include reading books, cooking, and going for nature walks. I also love spending quality time with her family and friends.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I disconnect from all distractions to include social media to sit still with my thoughts.

What book have you read more than once?

The Four Agreements is one book I can read often. It has been my blueprint to how I should live my life.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

The Fisher's House is a great organization that I admire for the work they do for veterans.

How do you recharge?

I go for walks and take long drives to recharge.
