Therapy Style

I truly believe that every person deserves to live their best life - the best version of their best life.

Sometimes things happen that get in the way of that, and my goal is to help clients overcome those barriers, challenges, obstacles, losses … whatever it may be so that they may be able to realize their true inner potential. I believe that we all have the inner resources to overcome challenges and that sometimes we just need a little guidance to find and utilize those resources.

I approach clients in need with a direct skills-based approach while always holding an unconditional positive regard for the individual journey and path someone may be on. I am excited by both the large and small changes someone is able to make and strive to always do my best to be warm, approachable, authentic and encouraging.

What are your interests outside of work?

Spending time with my son who loves to be in the water or at the park.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your mental and emotional well-being?

Try to disconnect from work and be fully present with my son and husband. I am also a sucker for a good reality show which doesn't use any brain cells to enjoy.

How do you recharge?

I like to glamp (specifically glamping and not camping!!), travel, eat, be by the water and spend as much time with my family as possible.

What book have you read more than once?

Harry Potter because every time I read it I find something new and magical I missed before and it makes me feel like a kid again.
