I was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, and moved to the San Diego area at the age of three. I am fortunate to be fully fluent in English and Spanish. Living in a bicultural home and in a very multicultural environment, I have been privileged to be part of the border culture, a subculture in itself.
My own personal and professional experiences have allowed me the opportunity to understand the importance of cultural, socio-economic, gender, and racial-related issues. I can empathize, if not relate to them all.
My hope and commitment to my clients are to guide them through their journey towards self-awareness and wellbeing. My goal is to provide them with the necessary tools (I like to think of therapy as a safe place where the clients build their toolbox) that will help them manage current and future life challenges. I would be honored to participate in your journey of self-awareness, wellbeing and overall emotional health.

I have always enjoyed learning and helping others walk though life's ups and downs. I have also experienced challenges in my personal life and had amazing mentors/support network that believed in my ability to heal and grow and would like to pay it forward.
My interests include spending time with family, my four dogs, hiking, reading, and indulging in Netflix.
Some things I do to support my wellbeing are planting, reading, listening to music, and exercising.
All wildlife and or animal organizations because I love animals and they are a worth while cause.
Spending time in nature and traveling when possible.
I have 2 German Shepard/Malinois mix, a Miniature Poodle, and Schnauzer.
