I am dedicated to creating a space that is warm, compassionate, and accessible, where you feel safe to explore the way in which you can build a more fulfilling life.

My Therapy Style

Sometimes we’re not able to make the changes we want in life without additional support. Congratulations on taking this step! It is a scary one, especially when there can be cultural barriers and stigma to receive therapy. My goal is to support you to remove barriers to growth and change, so you align with your most authentic self, have healthier relationships, and feel a sense of peace. I am dedicated to creating a space that is warm, compassionate and accessible where you feel safe to explore the way in which you can build a more fulfilling life.

I have worked with adults and adolescents who suffer from addiction/unhealthy substance use, codependency, trauma (generational and chronic), depression, relational problems, life transitions, grief, work stress, cultural issues, and anxiety to name a few.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

To offer a save place to explore ways to heal and grow, especially when cultural pressures may put a barrier or stigma. Receiving mental health services was not welcomed growing up and in my culture. I knew there was an imbalance and that my story was affecting my relationships. I became a psychotherapist to support remove these barriers.

What are your interests outside of work?

Outside of work I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, salsa and bachata dancing, trying a new restaurant. Traveling holds a special place in my heart. Currently, my interests is to find new toddler-friendly places to explore.

How do you recharge?

Currently, my recharge has been going to bed early ESPECIALLY since I have two children under 2. Recharging this year has been to ask for help and let someone stay with the kiddos.
