With almost a decade of experience in the field, I have dedicated my career to providing the highest quality of care to those struggling with mental health issues. I have worked in a variety of settings, including outpatient hospitals, private practice, inpatient facilities, residential treatment, and community clinics. I specialize in treating anxiety and depressive disorders and received advanced training in providing Exposure and Response Prevention treatment to individuals with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I am well-versed in a range of treatment modalities and use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Practices to help adults overcome their challenges and achieve their goals.

My mission is to provide accessible and effective mental health care to those in need. I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to lead a happy and fulfilling life, and I am dedicated to helping my clients reach their full potential. With a passion for helping others, I offer a warm and supportive environment where individuals can feel comfortable discussing their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

I am known for my compassionate, non-judgmental approach and my ability to help clients identify and overcome the obstacles that are holding them back from living their best lives. I work closely with each client to develop a personalized treatment plan that is tailored to their unique needs and goals.

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I have always been interested in human behavior and understanding why people think and behave the way they do. In our society, there is a stigma towards mental health and a lack of understanding by the general population of how mental health symptoms impact daily functioning and how to reduce the impact of those symptoms. I have always been interested in helping people and want to use my knowledge and passion to support people struggling with mental health symptoms.

What are your interests outside of work?

I am an active person and enjoy playing and watching sports. My favorite sports teams are the San Diego Padres, Los Angeles Lakers, and San Diego State University Aztecs. I enjoy spending relaxing time watching tv with my wife and our two cats.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

Before going to bed I listen to a 15-minute meditation from the Calm app. Helps me let go of any worries and stress from the day.

Do you have any pets?

Yes! I have two cats named Kiwi and Luna. My favorite pet story involves when Kiwi was a kitten and Kiwi and Luna were playing together. When one of them would get hurt from wrestling, the other would start licking them until they were ready to resume wrestling.
