I believe in helping people find a mindful balance. My approach to my sessions are to ensure clients feel supported, heard, and to assure a safe, secure environment of healing, without judgement.
I have over 15 years experience of helping clients develop coping skills, learn problem solving and adaptive skills related to stress management, anxiety, depression, autism, relationships, attachment, life transitions, grief and loss, trauma, domestic violence issues, family, parenting, co-parenting, divorce, separations, self-esteem or self-improvement, and personal growth.
I use various modalities but am more concentrated on mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and trained virtually in Eye Movement Desensitization (EMDR).

I enjoy watching movies, love the beach and long walks with my fur babies Kenta and Nova.
The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel van der Kolk. I prescribe it to clients who have trauma. It provides good insight into trauma symptoms and gives coping strategies.
