My approach is goal-oriented and solution-focused, and I believe that a collaborative approach works best for those seeking guidance for a better balanced, more fulfilling life. My approach to therapy is a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps change negative thought patterns, and Interpersonal Therapy, which helps clients discover patterns in their life that have kept them from realizing their full potential. I am especially interested in assisting clients through major life transitions: adolescent to adult, individual to family, parent to empty nest. I create a treatment plan specific to each client’s unique life situation and personal goals, and I believe in meeting my clients where they are in life in order to address the issues most critical to them.

I love to hike and to travel, to try new foods and experiences, and enjoy time with my dog and family. I love spending time with those who are important to me, but also make sure to take time for myself when I need to!
I am especially committed to the Special Olympics. I have been a volunteer for this organization for more than 20 years and deeply believe in its mission.
I have a 14-year-old rescue pup named Piper! We adopted her as a senior dog, and it's been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life! My favorite story with her is how quickly she has required us to adapt to her way of living instead of the other way around - she definitely runs our house!
