Get to Know Me

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy cooking/baking, reading (mostly fiction, but also the occasional celebrity memoir), and recently took up crocheting as a hobby.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I stretch first thing in the morning when I get up. I am not a morning person, so this simple act of physical mindfulness helps me gently wake up in a way that is both grounding and invigorating. It helps get my circulation flowing, allows me a quiet space of reflective exploration, and sets the tone for how I approach my day.

How do you recharge?

Time with family and friends, rewatching a favorite show (Friends and The Big Bang Theory are my top two!), yoga, and if weather permits… floating in the pool!

Do you have any pets?

I have three dogs: Phoebe, Shadow, and Maverick. My favorite breed is rescued — all three (as well as two others who have crossed the rainbow bridge) have been rescued, and have been the best additions to our family. They all have fun, unique personalities, and different needs, and help me practice love, compassion, and patience daily. They've also taught me that a little cheese never hurts.
