Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Couples [Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy (ICBT)], Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic, Relational, Strengths-based
My approach as a therapist is affirming, collaborative, Strengths-Based, and tailored to each client I work with. I focus on providing a judgment-free zone so that clients have space and support to work on their personal goals. I hope to build a strong relationship with each client because I believe that a strong relationship is important to our ability to work together and helps to strengthen the client's ability to reach their goals. Therapy can sometimes be hard work and often means facing difficult experiences from our past. My hope is that I am providing a space where the client never feels alone in the process.
As a therapist, I work with adults who have experienced depression, anxiety, trauma, family issues, domestic violence, and addiction, and who want to build a life worth living. My approach is influenced by my background in community mental health along with utilizing the modality that best fits each individual and their goals.

Other
I wanted to contribute to the healing and growth of my communities. I started out doing community organizing and eventually realized that we all are searching for ways to build and heal ourselves through community, which led me to want to deepen my efforts on healing work.
Reading, writing, going to the beach, glitter, food, art museums, and finding local coffee shops with delicious baked goods.
I try to journal and workout daily as both are integral to my wellbeing.
Journaling, working out, going to the beach, being in the sun, and time with my chosen family.
