My Therapy Style

I utilize over 20 years of mental health experience in providing personalized faith-based counseling to those navigating life's challenges. Clients take away from sessions a greater understanding of themselves, their challenges and strengths, and the steps to healing, growth, and restoration.

I specialize in working with people struggling with emotions, thoughts, life stressors, past events or choices, or relationships. Together, we find the thought patterns that undermine living a fuller life. We address barriers and build new skills and life patterns, leading to greater clarity, freedom, confidence, and inner peace.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

Ever since I took a psychology class in high school, I was drawn to learning more about people, behavior, and growth. I was always a person that people sought out to talk with about their problems. Eventually, I was convinced that I could do my part to be a help and support to people who need it in a way that was focused, trusted, and professional. I care deeply about those who are suffering or confused, and am compelled to do what I can to help bring healing and clarity. It is a truly humbling privilege to make a difference in someone's life.

What are your interests outside of work?

Spending time with my husband hiking, kayaking, biking, and other outdoor adventures. Traveling to National Parks. Serving at my church. Going to theater productions and art museums. Spending time with family and friends.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I begin my day with a walk, quiet prayer, reading Scripture with personal application guidance, and coffee.
