I approach my clients with warmth and compassion. My primary therapy styles include Cognitive Behavior Therapy, emotion-focused therapy, solution-focused and strengths-based therapy. I have experience working with individuals with substance abuse related issues. Additionally, I have worked with families and loved ones experiencing codependency or enabling related behaviors. My experience also includes working with those with anxiety, panic, social anxiety, self-esteem, or depression related issues. Moreover, I have experience working with couples and individuals who have concerns related to infidelity, relationship betrayals, family dynamic issues, sex addictions, interfaith marriages, stress, and communication related issues.

I believe that we all need someone to lean on. We need people who promote our personal growth. Personal growth is different between people. It could include finding ourselves, being happy, feeling "better," feeling "free," finding meaning, or even just feeling secure. How we do this is different between people as well. Life is a journey and our paths all look different. However, having someone along the way that can help us get to where we are going can feel a little bit better.

I have a West Highland Terrier. My favorite memory of her is when I first took her to the dog park. She pranced and hopped through the grass like a rabbit. People were commenting, "look at that happy dog." It was one of many happy times we share, but because she was a puppy it was the best.
