My Therapy Style

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have over 8 years of experience working with individuals with a wide range of mental health issues and disorders. I have worked with individuals of all ages providing individual, couples, and group therapy. I use a collaborative and holistic approach to implement individualized, trauma-informed, person-centered, and Strength-Based treatment. I utilize various theoretical approaches including Cognitive Behavioral, client-centered, and Family Systems, in order to provide therapy tailored to each client’s specific needs. I aim to build a positive, genuine, non-judgmental, therapeutic relationship with clients, in order to provide a safe space where a client can begin their journey of self-explorational, healing, and self-actualization.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I became a mental health professional because I love helping others and have always had a passion for psychology. I enjoy the privilege of providing a safe space for others to feel seen and heard. Human behavior has always been of interest to me.

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy hiking, running, and being outdoors. I enjoy being in nature and working with animals. I also have a love of art and enjoy painting and being creative. I have an interest in traveling, podcasts, and reading.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

The ASPCA, The American Cancer Society, and YMCA are organizations that are meaningful to me. I believe in animal rights and enjoy animal rescue. I have a family history of cancer and continue to fight the cause. The YMCA is also a favorite because I worked there for 10 years and took pride in community involvement.
