My Therapy Style

My approach is individualized based on your needs. I use intervention techniques that are based on interpersonal psychology, cognitive behavioral therapies, and mindfulness. In your counseling sessions, I will assist you in identifying how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. You will gain insight and will learn new ways of coping while changing maladaptive behaviors. I have experience working in hospital settings, outpatient counseling programs, and individual counseling through telehealth and school-based programs.

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I am inspired by understanding others and assisting them to obtain the growth and healing that they are looking for. I discovered my interest in psychology while taking a high school advanced placement psychology course.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I have a quiet morning routine that grounds me for the day ahead.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

The Audubon Society. I appreciate the cause and the opportunity to connect with nature that the organization provides.
