Get to Know Me

What are your interests outside of work?

Figure skating, jewelry-making, bowling, ballroom dancing, traveling

What book have you read more than once?

David Burns' The Feeling Good Workbook, which is a reminder of examining our thinking flaws.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

I love Tony La Russa's Animal Rescue Foundation as they take fantastic care of animals, and I have adopted two of our cats from there. I also entered their calendar contest for our cat, Autumn, though didn't win. We held my daughter's birthday party there a few years ago as she loves cats about as much as I.

How do you recharge?

Massages, figure skating or watching figure skating, spending time with my family and friends, seeing musicals, and watching my favorite tv shows/movies all help me recharge.

Do you have any pets?

We have five cats, and all of them are so unique. Autumn lays flat and also sticks out her tongue when she suckles, Copper chews on bows, Aspen is a bit cross-eyed, but very friendly, Tink gets into everything, and Kumo has the cutest bunny tail (Japanese bobtail). I think my favorite pet story has to do with being told that Copper had cancer and only 6-9 months to live, and surviving now for about 4 years without any sign of illness. He's a miracle.
