My Therapy Style

My approach is to meet you where you are while encouraging you to build and grow into your best self. We are all unique and no two people are the same. Therefore, my therapy is not a one size fits all. Since we require different approaches, I combine my modalities and theories to provide you with the best treatment for your individual needs. I use accelerated resolution therapy (ART) and am trauma certified. I encourage you to be your own advocate while learning to connect the dots along your journey and pave your own path to healing and serenity.

I have worked with adolescents, adults, couples, veterans, and first responders struggling with challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, relationship issues, and substance abuse. Life can be overwhelming and at times, utterly exhausting, but I’m here to guide you through any obstacles you may face, to help you understand yourself more deeply and better cope with change. If there is one thing that I know, it is that together we can fix this and together we will find your serenity!

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

Ever since I was young, I knew I wanted to get into a career path that would make a difference in people’s lives. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, my passion is guiding and assisting clients in reaching their individual goals.

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy being outside especially the beach. I love animals and have a passion for wildlife and nature. As a wife, mom, grandmother, and dog mom, I also enjoy assisting family and friends in reaching their goals.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

Sit outside in the morning and drink my morning coffee, listening to the birds and watching my dogs run around.

What book have you read more than once?

The Help. I love the message and justice.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

Boys and Girls Club, because they help children and families enjoy affordable activities.

How do you recharge?

Taking a road trip to the beach and listen to the waves.

Do you have any pets?

I have 2 dogs and 1 cat.
