I became a mental health professional to help serve as an advocate for those who do not have a voice to help themselves. I serve as a provider that is there to help my clients to move forward with living a more fulfilling and productive life. I provide guidance, direction, and insight into how to help clients navigate through their life stressors.
I'm a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. I enjoy volunteering and supporting my sorority. I also volunteer with Prison Fellowship, at a local correctional center near my home. I love to go to the beach, concerts, travel, attend church, and spend time with family and friends.
I have read Disruptive Thinking, by T.D. Jakes multiple times. Reading it again right now. Due to it speaking about how to change our own mindset and shift our perspective. In order, to broaden our horizons and outlook on life.
I relax by exercising (walking, going to the gym, etc.). I give myself time for thoughts/reflections. I get massages, foot reflexology massages, manicures, and pedicures. Along, with plenty of rest in between my busy life.
