My favorite part of being a therapist is the continuously evolving relationship that I foster with my clients. I love learning about my clients— everything that makes them who they are, from their interests to their cultural influences to their friends and family, and how all of this impacts the way they view the world. I am passionate about assisting clients who suffer from anxiety, OCD, and relationship issues but also enjoy working with clients with a variety of other concerns including addictions, self-esteem, trauma, and more. I provide counseling that is culturally competent and LGBTQ+ affirming.
In our sessions, I can integrate therapy methods based on what works best for you; I can help you to stay present, develop coping skills, work on motivation to change, and examine how your thought patterns could be impacting the way you are feeling. I love that as a therapist I get the chance to show my clients a new way of approaching their struggles and help them learn to value themselves for who they are. I look forward to the chance to be with you on this journey; whatever you are struggling with, we can work it out together.
