Why did you become a mental health professional?

My journey into the field of mental health stems from a profound desire to assist individuals and a keen fascination with human behavior. Initially drawn towards a career in law, my trajectory shifted upon encountering an abnormal psychology course, where my passion ignited. Advocating for others and raising awareness to enhance access to vital treatment and support services are central to my professional ethos.

What are your interests outside of work?

I take pleasure in cherishing moments with my family, exploring new destinations through travel, and indulging in the diverse array of culinary delights that various cultures offer.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I engage in practices like meditation, reflecting on the day's events to find closure, regularly checking in with myself and my support network, and enjoying a comforting cup of hot tea. These rituals are integral to nurturing my mental and emotional well-being, ensuring I am best equipped to fulfill my responsibilities and prepare for the next day.
