I have 15+ years of working with ADHD, anxiety, life stressors, parenting, etc. I offer parenting strategies, goal setting, accountability, self-esteem building, problem-solving, communication skills, and relaxation techniques. I utilize an eclectic approach to meet each client where they are at. During the initial session, I gather information to understand what brings you to therapy and what you are working towards. Then we'll review what has happened in between sessions and start to explore any underlying problems. We'll practice different coping strategies, to see which ones work best (these can vary).

I always had a passive idea in the back of my mind to have my own office where I could be a therapist and help others, and here we are. I truly feel that I was made to do this type of work. I have struggled with my mental health and ADHD, have worked through it, and continue to work on it. I want to share with others all the tools and skills I have acquired. It is the worst feeling when you are struggling. I never want anyone to have to feel that way, especially without support. This is my job but it's also my life.
Outside of work, I love to spend time with my husband and kids, read, Legos, research ways to be more efficient, do puzzles, organize, dance around the house, listen to music, do silly things with the kids, have movie nights, time alone to decompress, walks in the warmer weather, day trips, literally so many things.
Every day I need to stretch and breathe to help support my mind and body. Blood flow is important and for me, it needs to occur frequently to increase my energy, and motivation, keep pain away, and emotionally regulate.
Man's Search for Meaning! This was the book that made me fall in love with psychology. Senior year of high school, I truly became fascinated, and at that point forward it became my life.
The Lands at Hillside Farms. I have a soft spot in my heart for this non-profit. One of the many things they do is run a grief camp group for kids during the summer, which I have been participating in for years. The first several years I volunteered at the camp, it has truly made a difference in so many kids'/families' lives.
Time alone with a good book, warm bath, and a good snack. :)
My dog Roxy was not something I planned out. A friend was looking for a dog, and I went with her. I was playing with one of the dogs alone and I just couldn't give her back. And 16 years later she's still as hyper as ever.
