My Therapy Style

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families. My collaborative approach helps you to build on your strengths in order to face life's personal challenges. I believe in each person's intrinsic ability to heal from past hurt or trauma, and I see my role as that of a professional guide or consultant who will walk side by side with you through this part of your healing journey.

I am committed to helping you find your own unique answers to the issues you seek help resolving. I integrate a family systems approach with cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused techniques tailored to each individual in order to foster positive change, healing and personal growth.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I became a mental health professional because I believe we are all here to help each other be our best selves.

What are your interests outside of work?

When I am not working, I am usually doing something creative. I am an abstract mixed media artist and a jewelry designer. I'm also a foodie and love to check out new restaurants, especially when I'm traveling. In the chillier months, I work on improving my baking skills.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I take some time each morning to do some stretching exercises and this helps me to get my body and mind in sync and ready for the day.

How do you recharge?

I recharge by just spending some time in my creative space, working on a new painting or piece of jewelry.

Do you have any pets?

I have a beautiful, little dog named Oliver. He is a rescue and it was love at first sight the minute he walked into our front door, flipped over and asked for a belly rub!
