I have more than 15 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families using a whole-person approach tailored to the unique needs of each client.
My work rests on the foundation of a honest, caring, nonjudgmental and compassionate therapeutic relationship. I am primarily Trauma Focused Psychodynamic, but utilize mindfulness, religious/spiritual beliefs, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), medication, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), as appropriate. My clients come from diverse cultural, ethnic, socio-economic and religious backgrounds. I specialize in treatment of life-related stress, anxiety, depression, aging and phase-of-life changes, grief and loss, and trauma. I also provide premarital, marriage, and polyamory/non-monogamous relationships therapy.
