Therapy style
I believe that we all have a deep longing to feel heard and understood, and I specialize in women's mental health, prenatal and postpartum depression and anxiety, and relationship issues. I am also trained in EMDR, a form of therapy that helps people heal from trauma. Having the right therapist to guide you through the vulnerable process of sharing your story is an important step toward finding the path to healing.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and centered on meeting your individual needs. Building a strong therapeutic alliance between therapist and client tends to facilitate greater change. It is important to me to continually assess our fit and ensure I support you in a way that helps you make positive changes in your life.
