Therapy style
Congratulations on taking the first step on your journey towards well-being. I am a compassionate and dedicated psychologist with over 20 years of experience working with adults and adolescents. I guide individuals on their journey toward self-discovery, empowerment, and personal growth. I believe in the resilience and strength of every individual, and my client-centered approach ensures that each person's unique qualities and values are at the forefront of the therapeutic process. Using a variety of modalities, I can help you with a variety of issues and help you gain important skills. In our sessions, we can work on creating healthier thinking and behavior as well as adopting positive coping strategies, so that you can achieve lasting change and decrease suffering.
I also provide individuals with practical skills to manage intense emotions, improve communication, and foster mindfulness. In doing so, clients can develop present-moment awareness and non-judgmental acceptance. We will focus on your strengths and can harness your inner potential, overcoming great challenges. With a warm and empathetic demeanor, I create a safe and non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I work closely with my clients, fostering a therapeutic alliance built on trust and mutual respect.
I specialize in treating anxiety, depression and trauma using evidenced-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Somatic Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. In our sessions, you can expect a safe and non-judgmental space where your experiences are met with empathy, validation, and a deep respect for your inherent value and self-worth. If you are ready to embark on a journey of self-exploration and healing, I am here to support you every step of the way.
