Therapy style
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and has worked in the area of counseling since 2019. I have training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have worked with individuals with a variety of mental health issues, which includes depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, substance abuse, post-traumatic stress disorder, and personality disorders. I have experience in individual, group, and family counseling.
I feel therapy is a process between the therapist and client to explore and understand what the client is experiencing, to come up with coping skills that best fits them and their circumstances. I feel therapy should also be a place where the client is provided a safe, judgement-free, insightful, and empathic environment. Anyone can be capable of healing and building resiliency to a better life.
