Therapy style
My therapy style tends to be compassionate and relational. I understand how much courage it takes to dedicate time to working towards a better life while being vulnerable to change. Therefore, I start with a strengths-based approach and encourage acceptance and awareness on the client's journey to wellness. I believe our minds have the capability and desire for healing; the therapeutic relationship is key to open the door for growth to begin. Over time, the client becomes more in tune with themselves, their patterns, behaviors, and ways they would like to improve their life. Together with the client, we discover tools that empower them to become their best selves using both evidenced-based strategies and an understanding of their unique self.
