Therapy style
I have experience working in both community clinics and private practice settings where I have treated clients with a wide range of presenting concerns, diagnoses, and symptoms. I particularly have extensive experience working with trauma and PTSD, depression, anxiety, chronic pain due to injury or illness, relationship issues, life transitions, and work-related stressors.
My approach to therapy is centered on the therapeutic relationship; I view therapy as a partnership between therapist and client, and I seek to establish a trusting and safe environment as a foundation. With your therapeutic goals in mind, we will work together to gain a better understanding of yourself, your experiences, your relationships, and your emotions. Through this work, I will help guide you to learn how to better approach and cope with life's many challenges, ultimately leading to a happier, more fulfilling life. Though I understand clients through a holistic and psychodynamic lens, I use a variety of approaches in my work to ensure I am meeting clients' individual needs and goals.
