Therapy style

I employ a variety of therapeutic techniques to help enhance individual strengths and provide support through challenges including life stressors, anxiety, depression, PTSD, challenging relationship dynamics, social or emotional issues, and difficult transitions. I believe there is power in a collaborative, warm, and empathic therapeutic relationship, and use this as the basis of my therapeutic approach. I have over 10 years of experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families. I am level 2 trained in EMDR and enjoy incorporating IFS, cognitive strategies, and other modalities into my practice. My approach is eclectic.

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
  • Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP or EXRP)
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)
  • Interpersonal Psychotherapy
  • Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)
