Interests
I’ve been a musician for a long time. Trombone had been my main instrument that I went to school for, but I also play piano which I do almost daily. Music definitely helps me relax and clear my mind. In fact, I still play trombone occasionally in a cover band for an Elvis impersonator!
I really enjoy cooking and baking. I have been constantly working to take small steps to improve my diet while keeping things tasty! I’ve definitely discovered that what we eat matters in so many ways, so I love discovering new foods, trying new recipes, and exploring everything food-related.
I also love to travel. Every year I try to travel to at least one new country. Experiencing different cultures in parts of the world is really humbling, and I love how it highlights the ways humanity is united. Trips I’ve had in recent years include Belize, Japan, Italy, Portugal, Ireland, Switzerland, and a few more.
Other things I enjoy include spending time with family, playing card games, board games, video games, hiking, and spending time outdoors.
