Therapy style
I have been working in community mental health and private practice since 2015. Clients who have found working with me helpful include trauma survivors, those suffering from symptoms related to mood and anxiety disorders, and those dealing with stress in romantic and family relationships.
My therapy style has been influenced by my experience and training in mindfulness, emotion-focused, and acceptance-based models. I believe that for change and healing to occur, we have to get comfortable in the uncomfortable by accessing our true feelings and emotions. In our sessions, my job is to create safety for us to "go there". Together, we can confront what is bringing you to therapy and create a plan for you to reach your mental health goals. I'll be with you at every step!
