I am trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) using breathing, meditation and relaxation techniques to cope with stress, anxiety and depression. I have over 30 years experience in the counseling field. I use mind-body techniques to help you achieve mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. I gained expertise in treating PTSD in my position of Clinical Director of a residential facility for traumatized adolescent girls. To add to my expertise I trained in using EMDR which research has shown to be an effective tool for those suffering the effects of trauma and abuse.
