Therapy style
I've worked in community mental health, telehealth, and field-based services with some of the most vulnerable populations, assisting with issues that include trauma, personality disorders, chronic mental illness, and mood disorders.
I received my Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California. I have 10 years of clinical social work experience. Working for the Los Angeles Department of Mental Health as a licensed clinical social worker also presented me with the opportunity to work with single mothers dealing with a variety of issues such as perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, intergenerational trauma, and issues balancing work and family life responsibilities.
In my time as a helping professional, I developed an eclectic style that includes: Cognitive Behavioral theories, family systems, trauma-focused, and mindfulness practices. I am passionate about cultivating a space for exploration, healing, and personal growth in order to help individuals achieve their goals of mental well-being.
