Therapy style

I have worked in the field of mental health for fifteen years. I have been a program director of a Multicultural Institute for seven years and a project manager for an Alzheimer's and Dementia program. I have worked with many different populations and pride myself on being a culturally competent therapist. My Therapy style is very compassionate and nonjudgmental. I incorporate and work from the stance of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SF), and client-centered therapies in my practice. My treatment approach is primarily relational, valuing authenticity and connection with my clients, drawing on a range of clinical interventions and strategies based on what I believe will work best for each individual. One size does not fit all in therapy, my treatment plans are tailored based on clients' needs. l will strive to see the world through the client's lens. My slogan is to "believe in yourself" and that comes from my deep trust in every client’s inner healing intelligence! My areas of specialty include anxiety disorders, burnout, stress, and codependency. I love working with high-functioning, high-achieving individuals who are usually perfectionists. I also have a passion for working with Highly Sensitive People (HSP).
