My hope as a therapist is that I can give my clients tools they can use beyond the boundaries of therapy and make them applicable to their lives.

Therapy style
With more than 20 years of experience as a clinician, I have enjoyed working with a plethora of clients and issues such as life transitions, depression, and grief/loss. Diversity has been at the heart of my practice since the beginning of time, especially living in California and being a provider of color. Life transitions sometimes can be overwhelming. Although I love working with all life transitions, the two that I enjoyed helping people through the most have been postpartum issues (whether it's a first time or more with or without previous pregnancy loss) and grief/loss. With anxiety and depression issues, my approach has been using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness.

Interests
I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, and friends. I also enjoy cooking, going out to eat, theme parks, and experimenting with makeup and polishes. I want to say that I like exercising, but for now, let's say I like the idea of exercising.
