Therapy style

As a therapist, I assist clients with developing their individualized goals and offer tools that can be implemented in their lives. I believe in creating a therapeutic environment, which is essential for an individual to be able to express their concerns without judgment. This allows the individual the opportunity to come to an inviting place where one can speak openly and freely about concerns and/or struggles. My goal is to offer guidance and support, so clients can take steps to become the healthiest version of themselves. My work with clients focuses on fostering flexibility, authenticity, and healthy boundaries. I take a diverse therapeutic approach incorporating multiple models, e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Psychodynamics.

Approaches

  • Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
  • Couples [Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy (IBCT)]
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Harm Reduction
  • Motivational Interviewing
  • Psychodynamic
  • Solution-focused
  • Strengths-based
