Therapy style

When we endure traumatic or stressful experiences, it is very common to feel emotional distress and/or as if our world has begun to unravel. I am immensely grateful to be in a role in which I can help facilitate healing and take part in one’s journey towards recovery when these times emerge. While I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused therapy techniques, my therapeutic approach is highly individualized and attentive to cultural diversity. In therapy sessions, we will work collaboratively to identify your goals for treatment, tackle problems, explore/adapt your style of thinking, develop healthy coping strategies, and modify undesirable behaviors. My main goal is to facilitate change and help you move towards building a life that is most meaningful to you.
