Therapy style
I specialize in working with minority and LGBTQIA+ populations. My areas of expertise include anxiety, depressive symptoms, relational concerns, domestic violence, and trauma. I feel fortunate every time I meet a client because it is an opportunity to make a difference. I believe every client is unique; therefore, their therapy should be integrative. I take into consideration the client’s presenting concerns, their strengths, and their preferences when developing a plan. I then draw from years of experience in Solution-Focused, Experiential, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Person-Centered therapies to find the right treatment combination.
