I have been trained in cultural humility and responsiveness, and have worked with populations from different cultural backgrounds such as different ethnicities, nationalities, socio-economic groups, and perinatal mental health as part of the LGBT community I have also been trained in working with the LGBTQ+ groups.
I have a master's degree in Social Work. I have worked in the mental health area with adults and older adults since 2015. I have utilized modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Focused, and utilize tools from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Seeking Safety, and mindfulness orientations.
