Therapy style

In therapy, you have the opportunity to address challenges and struggles related to personal growth, relationships, and mental health while learning effective coping skills in a non-judging environment. I assist you by providing a non-biased perspective, and together we develop reasonable and achievable goals. As a mental health professional, I have had the remarkable opportunity over the last 15 years to work with diverse populations and a wide range of clients, including adults, couples, and families. I am here to walk alongside you on your journey; together, we can work at moving from "surviving" to "thriving." I am a facilitator for Prepare/Enrich pre-marital counseling and provide individual, family, and group counseling through the Victims of Crime Program (VOC) and EAP. Furthermore, I am currently a clinical member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.

Interests

I love physical activity, running has become my big interest over the last few years, and taking on marathons in different states and cities is a new passion. I also love to dance as this is something I started at an early age and have since been able to pass on our cultural tradition of Mexican Folklorico to my daughters.
