Therapy style
I recognize that seeking therapy is a difficult decision, and I am proud of you for taking the first step! You have already accomplished a big task just by getting started! Sometimes we just need a neutral person to talk to, and I am honored to be that person for you.
I use a multi-dimensional approach to fit the needs of each client through the use of various modalities of treatment, including Crisis Intervention, Solution Focused Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I utilize interventions that are specific to your needs and will allow you to process pain, decrease anxiety and depression, and replace unhealthy thoughts and behaviors with healthy ones.
I have over 10 years of experience working with various populations; teens, at-risk youth, adults, parents/co-parenting, and families. My areas of focus are the following, although not limited to: Depression, Anxiety, Sexual abuse/trauma, Struggles with Sexual Identity, Stress & Burnout, Grief and Loss, Trauma, Relationship Issues, Self-Harm, and Coping Skills.
My therapeutic style is warm, supportive, and non-judgmental. I am passionate about creating a safe space for all. I am an LGBTQ+ ally. My hope is for my clients to feel heard and seen.
