Therapy style
I specialize in working with adolescents, adults, families, and clients who identify with the Asian community to manage anxiety, depression, stress from life transitions, and family conflict.
As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist for the past seven years, I’ve helped clients accomplish their goals, enhance performance, and deepen connections with themselves and others. My approach is goal-oriented and integrated – pulling from multiple disciplines like Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solutions Focused Therapy. While keeping the individual’s needs in mind, an intentional humanistic approach remains at the forefront. Ultimately we’re going to need to have a meaningful relationship if we’re going to create change.
Bringing together and celebrating community is an ongoing part of my life’s work and what I’m striving to continue. I also find joy in playing fetch with my pit bull rescue, playing basketball with my best friends, and starting a cookbook with my grandma.

Interests
My first love was basketball! I still play whenever I get a chance with the same friends since high school. My 6-year-old pit bull rescue named Luffy demands a lot of fetch and hiking. I am also excited at the idea of starting a cookbook with my grandma.
