Therapy style

As a therapist, I take pride in creating a space where clients can explore, heal, and process their thoughts and feelings in a safe, welcoming, and encouraging environment. At my core, I am a relational therapist who will bring in a Strength-Based approach and incorporate mindfulness into sessions as well. It is important for me to meet my clients where they are, and collaborate with them so they get the most out of their time in therapy. With well over a decade’s worth of experience, and meeting clients at various moments in their lives, I find myself being more of a guide in the therapeutic process than anything else. I do incorporate the various training I have received in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy over the years to help bolster and empower my clients to create adaptive skills that allow them to be their most authentic selves.
