My name is Verenice Torres, and I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes deeply in the importance of mental health and compassionate care. I earned my graduate degree from the University of Southern California (USC) and bring over 10 years of experience as a psychotherapist. Throughout my career, I have supported children, teens, families, and adults facing emotional, relational, and life-transition challenges. I work with children and teens to help them navigate life’s pressures by strengthening emotional regulation, self-esteem, and coping skills. With teens, I provide support around school stress, social challenges, identity development, and the demands of high-achieving goals. I also specialize in working with adults who want to heal their inner child, break long-standing patterns, and build the confidence to create fulfilling relationships. Many of my adult clients are navigating dating, attachment wounds, and the feeling of being “behind” in life. Using EMDR and other supportive, evidence-based interventions, I help clients process past experiences and develop a deeper sense of self-trust and emotional safety.
