My Therapy Style

I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that promotes one’s highest potential. A holistic approach is utilized to demonstrate how powerful connectivity of the mind, body, and spirit can be in the healing process and in equipping oneself for successful goal achievement. I understand that no single approach is the right one for every individual. Therapy is viewed as a joint venture where combined knowledge and skills determine the best path of treatment and successful outcomes. My therapeutic style is centered around respect, understanding, sincerity, and providing a unique perspective to any challenge experienced.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

Becoming a mental health therapist was a natural choice for me due to my deep-rooted passion for helping others. I find immense fulfillment in being a source of support and guidance for individuals navigating their mental health journeys. One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is the opportunity to listen to clients' stories, which often serve as powerful sources of inspiration and resilience. I embrace the creative aspect of problem-solving, constantly seeking innovative approaches to assist clients in overcoming challenges and fostering personal growth. I take pride in my ability to help individuals see situations from different perspectives, encouraging them to explore new insights and possibilities. Witnessing the transformative impact of therapy and observing individuals prosper as they work toward their mental health goals is incredibly gratifying and reinforces my dedication to this essential work.

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy reading, exploring new areas and activities, spending time with friends and family, karaoke, and dance parties.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

Daily walks and meditation!

Favorite organization/non-profit?

The United Way because they serve people in so many different ways. I love how their mission is to bring people together to build strong, equitable communities where everyone can thrive.

How do you recharge?

Sitting outside while reading a book as I look out to the ocean.

Do you have any pets?

I have two dog, Toby a Maltese, and Buffett, a Golden Retriever/ Irish Setter mix. My dogs have not concept of personal space so it is normal for them to get in my face and stare at me until I wake up in the morning. I cannot be anywhere around the house without them by my side. They give the best cuddles.
