I love offering hope and healing to clients who may have suffered for years with unresolved trauma.

My Therapy Style

I have a passion for helping clients to deeply understand and accept themselves. I emphasize a person-centered, trauma-informed approach with knowledge of grief and loss, anxiety, and depression. I love offering hope and healing to clients who may have suffered for years with unresolved trauma. It is exciting to see clients transform from feeling downcast, depressed, and hopeless to seeing their experiences in a more balanced and accepting way; allowing them to move forward and live a more rewarding and satisfying life.

Get to Know Me

What are your interests outside of work?

Outside of work, I like to spend time with my husband and 2 rescue cats. I am also involved with volunteer work in my community and enjoy trying new restaurants and sitting by the beach watching nature.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I like to keep in touch daily with supportive friends. Whether we are texting or actually speaking to each other my close friends are touchtones in life that make me feel loved and whom I love to support.

How do you recharge?

I recharge by spending time with my pets, taking walks, birdwatching and spending quality time with my husband.

Do you have any pets?

I have 2 rescue cats. One, a male, is 11 and the other 12, is a female. I brought my male cat home to keep my other cat company. He fell in love with his older sister but she barely tolerates him. Late at night they occasionally will be found zooming through the house chasing each other. While the older is only 9 lbs and the younger 16 lbs, the older female dominates the boy. They are so sweet. People think cats are not loving but those of us who have them know better.
