My Therapy Style

Working over the past 25 years as a counselor, I have a relaxed, open-minded, positive, and collaborative counseling style while also being action-oriented. I am passionate about empowering others to help them manage and overcome obstacles. Our journey together can consist of but is not limited to energy psychology, improving communication and/or applying conflict resolution skills, reframing situations, and redefining norms in a safe, secure, and non-judgmental space. It is truly a privilege to provide support and guidance for people during challenging times.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I became a mental health professional because I enjoy working with others. I want to be able to offer cutting edge modalities and opportunities to help foster growth, helping others to become the best version of themselves!

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, volunteering in the community, and exercising.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I maintain a positive outlook, eat well, reframe situations, keep organized and have a healthy balance between family and work.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

Sports booster clubs and the SPCA are my favorite organizations. I enjoy volunteering on booster clubs to help foster and promote athletic teams. As for the SPCA, I love giving back to their organization so that they have the funds to do what is in the best interest of their furbabies and staff.

How do you recharge?

I recharge by eating well, drinking plenty of water, having intentional goals for my day, keeping a good routine, being in the moment, having quiet time, getting outdoors, spending time with family and friends and going on vacation.

Do you have any pets?

I have three pets and we were originally only going to adopt a cat and a dog. When we found out that the kitties were brothers, we did not want to separate them. So, in one day, we adopted 3 animals, a dog and two cats and their adopted names before coming to us all started with "E", so it was meant to be!
