I quickly create an alignment with my clients and am relaxed and non-judgmental in my approach. I use active listening to understand the current stressors that the client presents and offer meaningful feedback and solutions. I understand that clients come to therapy for many different reasons. I collaborate with the client to create a treatment plan that includes the client's goals for therapy and use effective psychoeducation tools to help my clients learn about their diagnosis and current stressors.

I have always enjoyed helping people. My background as an associate pastor helped me cultivate a passion for seeing people grow, work through conflicts, and become the best version of themselves.

Believe it or not, I was a professional rock guitarist for many years before coming into this career path. I enjoy playing the guitar at my local church, and also with my adult sons, who are also musicians.

I make time each morning for self-reflection and spiritual activities such as prayer and reading.

I love watching my favorite shows with my wife, eating out, and having some alone time.
