My goal is to create a safe, warm, open (and sometimes humorous) environment where relational support through challenging times will be provided.

My Therapy Style

My goal is to create a safe, warm, open (and sometimes humorous) environment where relational support through challenging times will be provided. While drawn toward Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I have piqued interests with integrating Mindfulness/Positive Psychology tenets along with discovering psychodynamic processes.

I am honored to hold the privilege to serve others. Through forming authentic connections, my hope is to collaboratively discover insights into thoughts, feelings, motivations, and actions that will collectively foster happiness and well-being.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

Growing up in an immigrant household, I became keenly aware of the intersectionality of race/ethnicity, gender, age, socio-economics status, orientation, ability, and beliefs across a variety of demographics. After receiving assistance from a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I thought to myself that I could probably do this as well. And here I am!

What are your interests outside of work?

Sports, video games, bulls & bears, chess, poker.

What book have you read more than once?

1984 by George Orwell. I'm fascinated by its prophetic accuracy.

How do you recharge?

Family & friends, massages, travel, mindfulness retreats.
