As a therapist, I strongly believe in creating a comfortable and safe space for clients. Through my experience, I've found that my therapy style is more casual, where I find sessions being experienced as casual conversations. I also show clients that I am human too and let clients of mine know that I've had my share of life experiences and have experienced some of the feelings you've experienced based on your current stressors. I can truly empathize with you and your stress. I've heard from many clients that this approach has led them to feel more comfortable in the therapeutic space and with me as their provider.
